تأسّست أولى الأخويّات المريميّة في دير القمر سنة ١٧٦٩، وبنى أعضاؤها كابيلّا سيّدة البشارة سنة ١٧٧٧ في حارة الخندق. رُمّمت سنة ١٨٢٢. ومع إعلان عقيدة الحبل بلا دنس سنة ١٨٥٤ كُرّس التمثال الجديد والأخويّة لإكرام سيّدتنا مريم العذراء البريئة من دنس الخطيئة الأصليّة، وأصبحت هذه الكنيسة تحتفل بيوم ٨ كانون الأوّل عيدًا لها. شهدت هذه الكنيسة إجتماع رجالات دير القمر ليلة مجازر ١٨٦٠. تتميّز الكنيسة كونها حافظة لذاكرة إحدى أقدم أخويّات لبنان، وهندستها الشرقيّة التي تمثّل العهد المعنيّ بمدخلها والدار التي تتقدّمها.

The first Marian Confraternity was founded in Deir el Qamar in 1769, and this chapel was founded by the members in 1777, in the Al Khandak neighborhood. The church was restored in 1822. In 1854, and with the proclamation of the Immaculate Conception dogma, a Marian statue was brought to the church and all of the confraternity was consecrated to the Immaculate Mother. Since then, the church became a shrine for the Immaculate Conception and its feast day became on the 8th of December. The church was the witness to the last reunion of Deir el Qamar’s men on the night of 1860’s massacre. This church is a memorial of one of Lebanon’s oldest confraternities. The architecture is one of the rarest models of the Maan’s era with a decorated portico and a frontal patio

كنيسة المخلص - حمّاتا

بُنيت الكنيسة سنة ١٩٠٥ بموجب اتفاق بين عائلتي أبي يونس وعاد يعود ل٢٨ تشرين الأوّل سنة ١٩٠٢، صادق عليه المطران نعمةالله سلوان. بنيت الكنيسة على مراحل كما تشهد المداميك البارزة في جدرانها. كرّس الكنيسة الخورأسقف يوسف الحايك سنة ١٩٣٩. الكنيسة كناية عن عقدٍ مصالب مرتفع، تنتهي بحنية مستقيمة ومذبح، رمّمت أواخر القرن العشرين. للكنيسة قبّتين للجرس إحداها مثمّنة الأضلاع والأخرى مربعة. تحوي الكنيسة على ثلاث لوحات من عمل داوود القرم تُمثّل التجلي والسيّدة ومار يوسف.

The church of the Holy Savior - Hammana

In 1902 an accord to build a church was concluded between the two families of Abi Youness and Aad, it was promulgated by Bishop Nematullah Selwan on the 28th of October. The construction ended in 1905. The church was consecrated by Chorbishop Youssef el Hayek in 1939. The structure consists of a crossed vault with three straight apses and three altars. The church was renovated in the late XXth century. The building is ornated with two bell towers one octagonal and the other squared. The church holds three paintings by Dawood el Qorm depicting the Transfiguration, the Madonna and St Joseph.

محبسة مار شلّيطا - وادي المذابح حدشيت

وادي المذابح هو من روافد الوادي المقدَس، وفيه محبسة مار أرتاميوس (شليطا) وتعود للقرن الحادي عشر. مؤلّفة من عقد سريريّ ينتهي بحنية نصف دائريّة، البناء أصبح اليوم أثرًا. في الموقع بقايا عظام بشريّة.

The Hermitage of St Chalita - The valley of Mazabeh Hadsheet

The valley of Mazabeh is a part of the Holy Valley descending from Hadsheet. In the valley stands the hermitage of St Artemius (Chalita in syriac) dating back to the XIth century. The building is in ruins consisting of a cribbed vault ending with a semi circular apse. The church contains remains of human bones.
